  • Domain registrars don't want you to renew your domains
This article expresses outrage against a blatant conflict of interests with regard to expiring domain names. If you build up a web site and don't renew your domain, your registrar has numerous ways to profit off this scenario. This outrageous and possibly illegal behavior is netting these crooks millions per year off of other people's hard work.

Pendulum latest release In Silco available in May 2008Pendulum released their second full length album, "In Silico" on May 12, 2008. Their latest release steers the band into a new direction from their previous album in 2005, "Hold Your Colour." The drum and bass heavy "Hold Your Colour" has been followed by the rock heavy "In Silco." While having less drum and bass feel, bassheads will be pleased with the diversity and depth Pendulum brings forth in this album. Plenty of funky, hard hitting bass lines are to be had but be prepared to do some good old head banging to some very edgy rock riffs.

Pendulum's sound on "Hold Your Colour" was marked by many uplifting, jazz and soul orientated tones. This is where the distinctive sound of "In Silco" contrasts most with its predecessor: darker and edgier. This divergence in sound, broadens their appeal to rockers and bassheads alike. And tracks like "The Tempest" are straight-up rock.

El Hornet, a mini-mix preview of the album was released in March 2008. The mix was available to register users of the bands site.

"In Silico" hails as a masterpiece follow-up to a very successful debut album. "In Silico," reassures Pendulum fans, and music fans in general, that Pendulum still has it and seems to have plenty more coming in the future.

Especially good tracks from Pendulum's "In Silico" (and why):

"Visions" - Funky 80's dance beat with a hard driving bass line. Gritty break out about mid-way through track reminds me of dark, yet danceable, beats off Nine Inch Nail's "With Teeth."

"Propane Nightmares" - Latin horn intro, followed by smooth rock soon turned up and on to driving drum and bass beats. As the song progresses, it continues into a heavier and much cooler 80's/Killers rock sound.

"9,000" - Hot drums (congos, i think), calming but moving guitar riffs. Ambient ocean effects. Straight-up drum and bass beats to move your feet and your ass. Spacey buildup that bursts straight back into hip swaying and body groovin' liquid drum and bass beats.

"Granite" - Heavy drum and bass funk. Jump-up, dance and rock! Just when the dance floor got hot, this track burns down the club (or your iPod).

Pendulum is a rock and electronica band known for drum and bass hits like TarantulaPendulum is . . .
