Current Playlist: Dee.P Summer Dropz v.1 PDF Print E-mail

Music has a way of penatrating of life. Subtle and overt influences on our daily routine, attitudes, and attention. While some people have a certain song they can't get out their head, I have this soundtrack . . . this playlist. For some time now I have been on a total drum and bass kick. Just can't get out of my head those jazzy-latin-reggae up-tones dropping into the funky, dirty downbeats. Seriously, it's a consuming addiction. Glad it's only drum and bass, huh?

Evanescence performing Going Under WPB, Florida 2007
Amy Lee of Evanescence exudes a powerful stage presence. (video / KPH)
Evanescence performing "Going Under" at Sound Advice Amphitheater in West Palm Beach for the Family Values Tour 2007 on August 14, 2007.  Korn headlined the Family Values Tour.  My roommate scored free tickets and roadie passes for the show.  And yes, we actually did roadie work, even through the torrential downpour that happened early on int he day.  Being a roadie-for-a-day was a shitload of work and definitely not east, but I enjoyed myself thoroughly.  I loved the autonomy of being able to walk freely backstage and the catering was top-notch.  Who can dis crab legs and bacon-wrapped anything?
